Such additional compensation shall <br />· not be paid to Building Maintenance Men, whose hourly rate includes performance <br />of all work assigned. <br /> <br />Section 3. I~enever the terms "Class A," "Class B" and "Class C" are used <br />in this ordinance, such classifications shall be determined by the appointing <br />authority on the basis of experience and performance. <br /> <br />Section 4. The Director of Public Works may appoint such additional hourly <br />employees in the several divisions as may be required from tim~ to time on a <br />temporary basis, at the rate of compensation fixed herein for said classifica- <br />tion. Provided, however, that such temporary employees provided for herein, <br />shall be classed as temporary and shall not be eligible for the benefits <br />provided in Sections 149.01 to 149.08) both inclusive, of the Codified <br />Ordinances, for full-time permanent hourly employees. <br /> <br />Section 5. Ail compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal install- <br />meats every two weeks. <br /> <br />Section 6. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for. the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force, immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />Mayor, and Ordinance No. 7-71 adopted February 15, 1971, Ordinance No. 9-72 <br />adopted February 7, 1972 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith shall be and aye hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Clerk ~/ <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
