insurance required by this Agreement shall be and remain in full force and effect <br />for th~ entire life of this ordinance. Said policy or policies of insurance or a <br />certified copy or copies thereof shall be approved by the Director of Law of said <br />City and be deposited with and kept on file in the office of said Director. <br /> <br /> Section 7. At the time this franchise becomes effective, the Company shall <br />furnish a bond to the City in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), in <br />such form and with suck sureties as shall be acceptable to the Director of Law of <br />the City, guaranteeing the faithful performance of all the obligations of the <br />Company under the terms of this franchise. <br /> <br /> The Company's performance of its obligations under this franchise shall be <br />conditioned upon the Company's receiving such licenses and/or grants as may be <br />necessary to the performance of this ordinance, from duly constituted agencies of <br />the Federal government or the State of Ohio, which licenses and/or grants the <br />Company agrees to apply for immediately upon its acceptance of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Installation, operation and maintenance shall be such that no <br />interference is caused to existing communications systems and so as not to distort <br />or interfere with direct-off-the air television signals. If there is any inter- <br />ference, which is not eliminated within seven days after notice by the City, Council <br />may~ after twenty day's notice, revoke the franchise herein granted. <br /> <br /> Section 9. In compliance wi~h Section 76'.31 (a) (4) of the FCC Regulations <br />and when this franchise takes effect, the Company shall have authority to charge <br />and collect the schedule of installation charges and rates contained in this <br />section, unless and until same shall be increased; provided, however, that no <br />increase of charges or rates shall be made until approved by the Council of the <br />City. <br /> <br /> The Company agrees, however, to provide free installation to all government <br />buildings and public institutions and to all schools both public and parochial, upon <br />written request of said institutions and schools. <br /> <br /> Ail fees and charges are exclusive of any tax or taxes whatsoever assessed <br />or assessable against the scheduled installations and/or services. <br /> <br /> The scheduled attachment fees shall include that material and labor necessary <br />to make a normal-type connection from the Company's lines to the subscriber's <br />receiver. Charges for ~her than normal-type connections, such as but not limited <br />to special and concealed outlets and buried lines, shall be as agreed to between <br />the prospective subscribers and the Company. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Charge for ir~tial attachment for single outlet shall be at the <br />maximum rate of $15.00 each. Charge for extensions from initial <br />attachment shall be at the maximum rate of $5.00 each. Extensions <br />shall be limited to the commercial structure and/or dwelling <br />residence unit to be serviced by the intial attachment. <br /> <br />(b) Charge for transmission to single set receiving signals initial <br /> attachment shall be at the maximum rate of $5.90 per month. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Charge for transmission to each set receiving signals on extension <br />or extensions from initial attachment shall be at the rate of $1.00 <br />per set per month. <br /> <br /> <br />
