<br />Section 2. Compensation of said employees shall be paid from [he Hospital
<br />Fund on a bi-weekly basis as determined by the Finance Department of the City
<br />of Lakewood. An hourly rate may be paid which, if multiplied by the number of
<br />working hours 'in the week and by fifty-two (weeks), then divided by twelve
<br />(months), amounts to a monthly rate which falls within the minimum and maximum
<br />range of the proper job classification established in this ordinance· A daily
<br />rate may be established by multiplying by eight any hourly rate determined
<br />above. The normal work week shall be forty hours.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That all interns and residents shall be furnished housing, Blue
<br />Cross coverage, meals and laundry, without: charge; and that medical technology
<br />sit, dents shall be furnished single semi-private Blue Cross and Blue Shield
<br />coverage without charge.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
<br /> for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives the
<br /> affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall
<br /> take effect on May 28, 1972, and Ordinance No. 56-70, adop'ted November 16, 1970,
<br /> and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be
<br /> and are hereby repealed.
