ORDINANCE NO. 42-73 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Usher, Werner <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position of Director of Public Works <br />and fixing the salary for said position commencing April 9, 1973. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of <br />public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation <br />of employees; now therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The position of Director of 'Public Works is hereby created <br />and the compensation for such position commencing April 9, 1973 shall be <br />$19,500.00 annually. <br /> <br />Section 2. ' That this ordinance is ~ereby declared'to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force April 9, 1973 upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor and Ordinance #7-73 adopted <br />February 1, 1973 shall be and the same is hereby amended accordingly. <br /> <br />Approved: ~, ~'?~.~ <br /> <br /> Vice Pres ide'dt <br />'~~C lO~ <br /> <br /> <br />
