ORDINANCE NO. 59-73 BY: Messrs. Sinagra, Werner, <br /> Graber, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Usher <br /> AN EbtERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend existing paragraph(°) (4) of Section <br />135.06 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood relating to Police Department record service charges. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is contained in°Ordinance No. 53-73 adopted June 4, 1973 <br />a typographical error relating to Police Department charges for preparing finger- <br />print cards, 'and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department has rgquested that its charges for <br />fingerprints remain at $2.00 for each card, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this correction in Police Department record service charges <br />should be made immediately, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C~UNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That existing paragraph ~)(4) of Section 135.06 of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood presently <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The Director of Public Safety, through the Record Bureau of the <br />Division of Police, is hereby authorized to make and collect the <br />hereinafter provided charges for the following services: <br /> <br />(4) Fingerprints .................. $5.00 for each <br /> card <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The Director of Public Safety, through the Record Bureau of the <br />Division of Police, is hereby authorized to make and collect the <br />hereinafter provided charges for the following services: <br /> <br />(4) Fingerprints .................. $2.00 for each <br /> card <br /> <br /> Section 2, That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, <br />and existing paragraph (a)(4) of Section 135.06 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approve d: <br /> <br />Clerk~/ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
