ORDINANCE NO., 77-73 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Werner, Brockman, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make a~ditional appropriations for expenditures of <br />the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31 <br />1973. ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the <br />public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation <br />of municipal departments; now, therefore, 3 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />0190100 <br />0190500 <br />0190600 <br />0191100 <br />0191800 <br />0195100 <br />0195200 <br />0196000 <br />0196300 <br />0196400 <br /> <br />SecCton 2. <br />Section 3o <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />Council $ 6,500 <br />Finance 3,300 <br />General Administration 22,000 <br />Planning 6,550 <br />Public Lands & Buildings 6,000 <br />Sidewalks 7,000 <br />Street Lighting 51,250 <br />Parks " <br /> 38,000 <br />Tennis Courts 1,200 <br />Trees , 2~000 <br /> Total General 143,800 <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from <br />the Water C.O.D. Fund <br /> <br />12,000 <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from <br /> the Parking Meter Fund <br /> <br />25,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the <br />head of the Department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing <br />the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it.receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all me~bers elected t° the 'City <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in forcm immediately upon <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted :~~~ /3 <br /> <br />/ P~esident <br /> <br /> <br />
