U.sher, Br. ockman, Chinnock, <br /> Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra <br /> <br /> AN EbIERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Paragraph (a) of Section 149.11 <br />of the Administrative (;ode of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood4 <br />relating to sick leave for full-time permanent hourly employees. <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE ~-T ORDAINED BY TIlE COUNCIL OF TllE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section ]. That Paragrapl~ (a) of Section 149.11 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances Of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.]_]. SICK LEAVI'; FOR tlOURLY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Each ful:l-time permanent hourly employee Shall be entitled <br />to sick leave on account of illness or injury incapacitating <br />bis from work, without loss of regular time pay, vacation, <br />seniorit:y, or other rights or privil, cges, in an amount no~ <br />to exceed fourteen days per calendar year during the first <br />two years of service, not to exceed twenty-one days per <br />calendar year during the next thirteen years of service, <br />and not to exceed thirty days per calendar year after <br />fifteen years of service. In calculating sick leave h. ere- <br />under, allowance shall be made for all time spent in the <br />employment of the City, whether before or after the effective <br />date of th£s section. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as ~ollows.: <br /> <br />Section I~i. 9.11 SICK LEAVE FOR tlOURLY EMPI.,OYEES <br /> <br />(a) Each full-time permanent hourly employee shall be entitled <br /> to sick leave on account of illness or injury incapacitating <br /> him front work, without loss of regular time pay, vacation, <br /> seniority, or other rights or privileges, in an amount not <br /> to exceed fourteen days per calendar year during the first <br /> two years of service, not to exceed t}~enty-one days per <br /> calendar year during the next ten years of service, and not <br /> to exceed thirty days per calendar year after twelve years <br /> of service. In calculating sick leave hereunder, allowance <br /> shall be made for all time spent in the employment of the <br /> City, whethe~ before or after the effective date of this <br /> section. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
