ORDINANCE NO. 24-74 BY:Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Paragraph (b) of Section 149.08 ~ of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakew~od relating to vacations for City employees. WI~REAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 149.08 (b) of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: Section 149.08 VACATIONS. (b) Vacation time shall be earned in one calendar },ear and taken in a subsequent calendar year and shall be pror~ated in accordance with the table set forth in. subsection (a) above, provided, however: (i) Members of the Division of Fire who have completed ten (10) years of service by June 1 of any given year shall be entitled to three (3) weeks' vacation in that year and all subsequent years of employment, provided further that all full-time permanent members of said division who have completed fifteen (15) years of service by. June 1 of any given year shall be entitled to four weeks'vacation in that year and all subsequent years of employment. (ii) Hembcrs of t[]e Division of Police who [~ave completed ten (10) years of service by June 1 of any given year shall be entitled to three (3) ~,'ecks' vacation in tibet year and all subsequent years of employment, provided further t}~at all full-time permanent members of said division who [~ave completcd fifteen (15) years of service by June 1 of a~y given year shall be entitled to four weeks' vacation in that }'ear and all subsequent years of employment.
