ORDINANCE NO. 39-74 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Chinno'ck, Graber, Magnotto, <br />McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving the compensation of employees of Lakewood <br />Hospital, establishing other benefits for certain employees and students as <br />fixed by the Board of Trustees, and repealing Ordinance No. 48-73, adopted <br />May 21, 1973, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent <br />herewith. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Lakewood provides that the Board of Trustees <br />of Lakewood Hospital shall employ such employees as the Board deems necessary <br />and fix their compensation, subject to the approval of Council, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Tru'stees of Lakewood Hospital has created certain positions <br />and fixed salaries of employees of Lakewood Hospital, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />property, health or safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1.
