Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinag <br /> Usher, Brockman, Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE establishing rate charges for the Municipal <br />Parking Garages located in the City of Lakewood, revising and amending charges <br />previously established and repealing Ordinance 14-73 adopted on February 1,1973. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood owns and operates two Municipal Parking <br />Garages which are open to the public and are managed and controlled as a function <br />of the Division of Streets, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the rate structure in order to <br />comply with certain new accounting procedures, and increased costs of operation, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an.emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the rates for parking vehicles in the Lakewood <br />Municipal Parking Garages be and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br />First half hour or fraction thereof <br />Second half hour or fraction thereof <br />Each additional hour or fraction thereof <br />Maximum (not to exceed 24 hours) <br />Nights (between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 .a.m.) <br />Monthly pass: <br /> Garage #1 <br /> Garage #2 - Floors 1 and 2 <br /> Floors 3 and 4 <br /> Floors 5 and 6 <br /> <br />$ .25 <br />.25 <br />.25 <br />2.00 <br />.50 <br /> <br />30.00 <br />30.00 <br />25.00 <br />20.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2. That where parking is provided by Lakewood Hospital for its <br />employees and staff members, the rates for such parking shall be determined by <br />accounting procedures adopted by Blue Cross of Northeast Ohio and Medicare based <br />upon construction costs, annual depreciation and operating expenses, but in no <br />event shall such rates exceed the rates set forth in Section 1 above. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
