ORDINANCE NO. 76-74 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERCENCY ORDINANCE to dedicate to public use for street purposes <br />certain property hereinafter described to be known as Center Way North. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has heretofore acquired certain property <br />located north of Detroit Avenue between Belle Avenue and St. Charles Avenue for <br />the purpose of constructing an off-street parking facility and a road open to <br />the public without charge, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on that portion of said property acquired for the purpose of <br />consnruct~ng a road open to the public, a road has been constructed which ~should <br />now be dedicated to public use for street p. urposes, and <br /> <br /> WUEREAS, a plat of said street has been approved by the City Engineer <br />and the Planning Commission of the City of Lakewood, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, tbis Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare and for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the parcel of land. situated north of Detroit Avenue <br />between Belle Aven~e and St. Charles Avenue, and fully described as follows, be <br />and the same is hereby dedicated to public use for street purposes and shall be <br />known as Center Way North. <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyaboga and State of Ohio <br />and known as being part of Original Rockport Township, Section No. 22, <br />and also known as Sublot No. 380 in t~e Lakewood Realty Company's <br />Subdivision No. 1 as shown by. recorded plat in Volume 25 of Maps, Page <br />26 of the Cuyahoga County Records and Sublot No~ 249 in the Lakewood <br />Realty Company's Lakewood Park Subdivision as shown by recorded plat <br />in Volume 27 of Maps, Page 26 of the Cuyaboga County Records and <br />bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the ~o~u~hwesterly corner of Sublot No. 249 in said <br />Subdivision, which point is 206.79 feet North of the Northerly right- <br />of-way line of Detroit Avenue, 76 feet wide, and in the East right-of- <br />way line of St. Charles Avenue, 60 feet wide; <br /> <br />thence N 0~-28'-00'' East, along the Easterly right-of-way line of <br />St. Charles Avenue, 60 feet wide, a distance of 40.00 feet to a <br />point; <br /> <br />thence N 89o-32'-00'' East along the Northerly lines of Sublot NO. 249 <br />and Sublot No. 380 in the said Subdivision, a distance of 260.00 <br />feet to a point in the Westerly~right-of_way line of Belle Avenue, <br />60 feet wide; <br /> <br />Thence S 0o-28'-00'' W, along the Westerly right-of-way line of <br />Belle Avenue, 60 feet wide, a distance of 40.00 feet to a point; <br /> <br />thence S. 89°-32'-00" W along the Southerly lines of Sublot No. 380 <br />and~Sublot No. 249 in tl~e said Subdivisions, a distance of 260.00 <br />feet to the principal place of beginning, <br /> <br />as shown by a plat of said street approved by the City Engineer and the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> <br />
