ORDINANCE NO. 36-75 ~y: Messrs. Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the annual salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City of Lakewood commencing June 8, 1975. WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation of employees; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of annual, salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City of Lakewood.shall be as follows, commencing June 8, 1975. BUILDING AND PLANNING DIVISION Building Department employees shall receive additional annual merit pay upon receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of Ohio: State Plumbing Inspectors License State Electrical Inspectors License $ 600 6OO WATER DIVISION Water Division employees shall receive additional annual merit pay upon receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of Ohio: Class 1 License Class 2 License $ 200 45O OFFICE ON AGING Director $12,000 Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adop- tion and approval by the Mayor; and Ordinance No. 20-74 adopted March 18, 1974, and Ordinance No. 30-75 adopted May~ are hereby amended President ¢lerk F/ Approved:~ ~, /~" May~
