The Director of Public Works may appoint such additional hourly <br />employees in the several divisions as may be required from time to time on a <br />temporary basis, at the rate of compensation fixed herein for said classifica- <br />tion. Provided, however, that such temporary employees provided for herein, <br />shall be classed as temporary and shall not be eligible for the benefits <br />provided in Sections 149.01 to 149.08, both inclusive, of the Codified Ordi- <br />nances, for full-time permanent hourly employees. <br /> <br />Section 3. Ail compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal install- <br />ments every two weeks. - <br /> <br />Section'4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two,thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor, and Ordinance No. 21-74 adoptedMarcb 18, 1974, and all other ordinances <br />or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be and are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
