ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />3-77 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Sinagra, Usher, Brockman, Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position and fixing the salary of <br />Assistant Building Commissioner. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that it is deemed necessary by this <br />Council, in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, that the position <br />of Assistant Building Commissioner be created forthwith and that the compensation <br />for such position be fixed, and in that this Ordinance provides for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore., <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the position of Assistant Building Commissioner be <br />and the same is hereby established and that the compensation for such position <br />shall be in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) per annum. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That all compensation provided for herein be paid in equal <br />installments every two (2) weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
