(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay from <br />City funds the actual premium cost of hospitalization <br />coverage for each member of the Division of Police and <br />the Division of Fire who is enrolled in the City's <br />hospitalization plan currently in effect. <br /> <br />(c) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay from <br /> City funds the actual premium rate of hospitalization cov- <br /> erage for all other City employees, payable monthly or <br /> semi-annually at the discretion of the Director of Finance <br /> by payment of such premium to the insurer, or in cash based <br /> on actual premium rate, where the employee is not enrolled <br /> in the City hospitalization plan, but in no event shall <br /> such cash payment exceed the sum of $70.26 per month. In <br /> the event that an individual is enrolled in single plan <br /> coverage, the Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br /> to pay from City funds the actual premium rate in cash <br /> based on the difference between the family plan rate and <br /> the single plan rate, but in no event shall such cash payment <br /> exceed the sum of $42.31 per month. <br />(d) Such payment by the City shall be made from the following <br /> funds at the rates designated: <br /> <br />(1) Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />(2) Ail Grant programs where such cost <br /> is included in Grant <br />(3) Street Construction, Maintenance & <br /> Repair Fund <br />(4) Water Fund <br />(5) Parking Facilities Fund <br />(6) General Fund <br /> <br />Actual Cost <br /> <br />Actual Cost <br /> <br />9.6% * <br />5.6% * <br />3.3% * <br />81.5% * <br /> <br />* Percent of the balance after actual cost items <br /> <br />Section 2. The hospitalization coverage provided for in the within ordinance <br />shall be for that coverage commencing May 12, 1977. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, and upon <br />approval by the Mayor, it shall take effect and be in force commencing <br />May 12, 1977, and Ordinance No. 15-76 adopted March 1, 1976 is hereby <br />repealed as of said date. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ ~ ,'qz7 <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
