<br /> Section 1. ~l]at Section 301.04 of the Traffic Code of the Codified
<br />Ordinances of the City of 'Lakewood now reading ms follows-
<br />
<br /> 301.04 BICY('I,E.
<br /> "Bicycle" means every device,other khan a t:ricycle designed .';olely for use aca a
<br />play vehicle by a cltild, propeJled solely hy h,u,an power, upon which any person may
<br />ride having either two tandem wheels or one wheel in the frout and two wheels in the
<br />rear, any of which is more than fourteen inches in diameter; and includes any such
<br />device fitted with a 1,elper motor rated less than one brake horsel)ower transmitted
<br />by friction and not by gear or chain, which prodnceu only ordinary pedal inr. speeds

<br /> (b) "Motorized bicycle" means any vehicle having either two tandem wheels or one
<br />wheel in the front and two wheels in the rear, that is capable of being pedaled and is equipped
<br />with a helper motor of not more than fifty cubic centimeters piston displacement which
<br />produces no more than one brake horsepower and is cai)able of propelli.ng the vehicle at a
<br />st)ced of no greater than £wenty miles per hot~r rm o level surface.
