OItDINANCE NO. 46- 78 BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Brown, Magnotto, Salmon,Usher, Brockman AN'EME~GENCYORDINANCE providing a rate schedule for the use of the police pistol range in the Police Headquarters of the City of Lakewood. Wt~AS, this ordinanCe constitutes an emergency measure providing' for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE O(IJNCILOF THE CITY OF LAK~¥OOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the following rates shall be charged organizations for the use of the police pistol range located in the Police Headquarters in the City of Lakewood: Up to 4 hours or any part thereof $ 50.00 In excess of 4 hours up to 8 hours or any part thereof 100.00 Section 2. Use of the police pistol range shall be limited to organizations employing, or certified to train, law enforcement personnel, public or private. Section 3. qt~e Chief of Police may, at his discretion waive all or part of payment of fees provided for in Section 1 of this ordinance for governmental agencies, including, but not limited to, organizations such as the FBI, Department of Inrnigration, Internal Revenue Service and the United States Coast Guard. Section 4. All rentals of the police pistol rzmge shall be subject to the approval of the Olief of Police and the use of such range shall be subject to rules mhd rogmlations ms m~y be fr~xn time to t~me established by the Chief of Police, subject to the approval of the Director of Public Safety. Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereo'f, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all m~nbers elected toCouncil, it shall take effect and be in force inmediately upon its adoption and approval by the ~yor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
