Chinnock, Brown, <br />Magnotto, Salmon,Usher, <br />Brockman <br /> <br /> AN'EME~GENCYORDINANCE providing a rate schedule for the use of the <br />police pistol range in the Police Headquarters of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Wt~AS, this ordinanCe constitutes an emergency measure providing' <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE O(IJNCILOF THE CITY OF LAK~¥OOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the following rates shall be charged organizations <br />for the use of the police pistol range located in the Police Headquarters in <br />the City of Lakewood: <br /> <br />Up to 4 hours or any <br />part thereof <br /> <br />$ 50.00 <br /> <br />In excess of 4 hours up to 8 <br />hours or any part thereof <br /> <br />100.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2. Use of the police pistol range shall be limited to <br />organizations employing, or certified to train, law enforcement personnel, <br />public or private. <br /> <br /> Section 3. qt~e Chief of Police may, at his discretion waive all or part of <br />payment of fees provided for in Section 1 of this ordinance for governmental <br />agencies, including, but not limited to, organizations such as the FBI, <br />Department of Inrnigration, Internal Revenue Service and the United States <br />Coast Guard. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All rentals of the police pistol rzmge shall be subject <br />to the approval of the Olief of Police and the use of such range shall be <br />subject to rules mhd rogmlations ms m~y be fr~xn time to t~me established by <br />the Chief of Police, subject to the approval of the Director of Public <br />Safety. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereo'f, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all m~nbers elected toCouncil, it shall <br />take effect and be in force inmediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />~yor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved' <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
