Brockman, Brown, <br />Chinnock~ Magnotto, <br />McBride, Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing <br />the Mayor, as ex-officio Director of Public Works, to employ <br />by contract the firm of Gensert, Pellet, Mancini and Assoc., <br />The Arcade, Cleveland, Ohio as consulting engineers for the <br />purpose of preparing construction drawings, contract documents and <br />specifications for the remodeling and expansion of the bath <br />house at Foster Pool. <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, this Council determines that it is necessary <br />to remodel and expand the bath house at Foster Pool to provide <br />facilities for handicapped people, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This COuncil determines that it is necessary <br />to employ the service of a consulting engineer in regard to <br />such remodeling and expansion of the bath house at Foster Pool. <br />and ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property, <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department, <br /> <br /> NOW, HEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TttE <br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as ex-officio Director <br />of Public Works, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />employ by contract the firm of Gensert, Peller, Mancini and <br />Assoc., The Arcade, Cleveland, Ohio as consulting engineers for <br />the purpose of furnishing all engineering design and drafting <br />services for the remodeling and expansion of the bath house <br />at Foster Pool including the preparation of detailed construction <br />plans, specifications, estimates of cost and contract documents <br />complete for bidding. The cost for these services shall not <br />exceed the sum of $15,000 and said cost shall be charged to the <br />Foster Pool Improvement Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Tha~ this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote o£ cwo-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise <br />it shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br /> <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: /~~//. ~'~/~7~ <br /> <br />Approved: /~/~ ~-~.,/f;~ff~ <br /> <br /> <br />
