ORDINANCE NO. 57-78 BY: Messrs. Brown, Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, Brockman AN ORDINANCE to amend Section 351.99(c) and enact a new Paragraph (d) to said Section of the Traffic Code of the Codiff. ed Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to provide for an increase in the fine for.violation of "Snow Ban" parking. WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to increase the waiver fee for a violation of "Snow Ban" parking from $5.00 to $10.00 and the late payment of same from $10.00 to $15.00, and WHEREAS, our present supply of tickets will be expended prior to November, 1978 and action should be taken on the within proposal at this time; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That existing Paragraph (c) of Section 351.99 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: 351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER (c) Whoever violates Sections 351.01 through 351.18., Section 351.20(b) or (c), Section 351.23 or Section 351.27 may, in lieu of the other penalties provided for the violation of such sections and upon signing a waiver, be fined five dollars ($5.00) if such violator pays such fine at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, within forty-eight hours, or if not within forty-eight hours , then in the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) if such violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail within seventy-two hours from the time of violation.
