Brown, Chinnock, Magnotto, <br />McBride, Salmon, Brockman <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to. designate and name the softball field <br />located in Madison Park "George J. Usher Field". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, There is located in Madison Park one of the finest softball <br />fields in the Greater Cleveland Area,and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This Council deems it fitting and proper to designate <br />and name said field in honor of the late George J. Usher for <br />his extraordinary contributions tö the City of Lakewood, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This ordinance cónstitl¡'tes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for <br />the further reason that the softhall 'field should _be named at the <br />earliest possible time to accommodate the summer baseball program; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />See tion <br />City of <br />"George <br /> <br />1. That the softball field located in Madison Park in the <br />Lakewood is hereby designated and named, effective immediately, <br />J. Usher FieldH. <br /> <br />Section 2.
