ORDINANCE NO. 77-78 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Ilagnotto, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Wendling, Brockman <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position and fixing compensation for <br />school traffic guards commencing August 27, 1978. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest <br />of publ. ic service, welfare and safety it is necessary to create the position <br />and fix the compensation for school traffic guards; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE"IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The position of school traffic guard is hereby created and the <br />compensation for alt persons employed as school traffic guards is hereby <br />established as follows, commencing August 27, 1978: <br /> <br /> School Traffic Guards $4.10 per hour <br /> <br />SeCtion 2. All compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal <br />installments every two weeks. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance's hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />t~ke effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor, and Ordinance No. 14-76 adopted March i, 1976 shall be and the same <br /> <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
