ORDINANCE NO. 97-78 BY; Brown, Chinnock, Magnotta, McBride, Salmon, Wend] ing, Brockman AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE accepting the gift of two (2) parcels of land loc<fted on Cohasset P1-ace for publ ic purpose and expressing appreciation to the donor thereof. WHEREAS,th~ Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lakewood, 12222 Madison Avenue, Lakewood,Ohio is the owner of two (2) parcels of land located on Cohasset Place, which are more definitively described as Permanent Parcel Nos. 312-31-82 and 312-31-83 of the records of the Recorder of Cuyahoga County, and WHEREAS, Home Federal Savings and Loan Association has offered to donate th i s vacant land to the City of Lakewood wi th the hope that the land will be put to public use for the good of the people in the area and the City in general, and has executed a Warranty Deed, Limited Form in favor of the City, and WHEREAS, the acceptance of the Deed and the dedication and addition of the aforementioned property for publ ic purposes and use will be of great value to the City and all of its citizens, and WHEREAS, this Council is desirous of so accepting said Deed and expressing its apprec-iation to Home Federa1 Savings and Loan Association, the donor of the aforementioned land, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservatJori of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, thérefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL DF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section]. The gi-ft of the Home FederaJ Savidgs and Loan Association of Lakewood of two (2) parcels of vacant 1and on Cohasset Place in the City of Lakewood, designated as Permanent Parcel Nos. 312-31-82 and 312"}1-83 of the records of the Recorder of Cuyahoga County is hereby accepted and approved, and the deep and sincere appreciation of the City of Lakewood to the Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lakewood, the donor of this 1and, is hereby expressed and made part of the records of the Ci ty of Lakewood. Section 2.- The Director of Law is hereby authorized and directed to cause the Warranty Deed, Limited Form (Ohi~ Statutory Form) which has been duly executed by the officers of Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lakewood to be recorded in the Deed records of the Office of the Recorder of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio.
