CLERICAL PERSONNEL Clerk-Stenographer Clerk Switchboard Operator ADDITIONAL ANNUAL MERIT PAY '~-~-~s-~'i~--~~ add i tional annual merit pay upon receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of Ohio: Plumbing Inspectors License 600 Electrical Inspectors License 600 Class I Water DisLribution License 200 Class II Water Distribution License 450 Class I Wastewater Treatment License 200 Class II Wastewater Treatment. License 450 Class III Wastewater Treatment License 750 Class IV Wastewater Treatment License 850 7,5O0 lO,700 6,000 10,165 6,000 10,165 Section 2. In the Division of Fire, Departlnent of Public Safety, Group 1 Firemen shall consist of firemen who have continuously served in Lt~e Division of Fire two (2) full years or who, in the judgment of the Director of Public Safety, have acquired equivalent training and acquired experience in the Division of Fire in some other City. Group 2 Firemen shall consist of firemen who have served continuously in the Division of Fire for more than one (1) year buL less than two (2) years. Group 3 Firemen shall consist of firemen who have served in the Division of Fire For less than one (1) year. Provided, however, that there shall be no increase in salary to a Fireman by reason of said grouping until certified by the Directorof Public Safety. Section 3. In the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, Group l patrolmen shall consist of patrolmen who have continuously served in the Division of Police two (2) full years or who, in the judgment of the Director of Public Safety, have acquired equivalent training and acquired experience in the Division of Police in some other City. Group 2 patrolmen shall consist of patrolmen who have served continuously in the Division of Police For more than one (1) year but less than two (2) years. Group 3 patrolnlen shall consist of patrolmen who have served in the Division of Police for less than one (1) year. Provided, however, that there shall be no increase in salary Lo any employee by reason of the said grouping until certified by the Director of Public Safety. Section 4. Salary of the Director of Law s'hall cover all ordinary service, including legal advice and ooinions as requested by Council, the Mayor, and various departments, the drafting of ordinances and resolutions, attendance at Council meetings and the adnlinistration and supervision of the Law Department. The Law Directors and Prosecutors shall receive additional professional fees for the handling of any liti<jation involving the City of I._akewood, or other extraordinary services, such Fees not to exceed the minimum Fees prescribed by the minimul, fee schedule of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association. Section 5. All compensation provided 'For herein shall be paid in equal installments every two weeks. Section 6. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds nf all members elecLed to Conncil, it shall take effect and be in force immediately u~on its adol~Lion and approval by the Mayor: and Ordinance No.lll-78 adopted December 18, 1978 and Ordinance No. 77-78, adopted Auqust ~0, 1978, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances incons~istent herewith shall be and are hereby repealed. ., Presi den,t-~-- Cle~ Approved: ~'~¢ .
