In addition, all employees who <br />work a regular rotating shift shall receive a fifteen cents (15~) per hour <br />shift premium for all regular hours worked. <br /> <br />Section 3. The Director of Public Works may appoint such additional hourly <br />employees in the several divisions as may be required from time to time on a <br />temporary basis, at the rate of compensation fixed herein for said classifica- <br />tion. Provided, however, that such temporary employees provided for herein, <br />shall be classed as temporary and shall not be eligible for the benefits pro- <br />vided in Sections 149.01 to 149.08, both inclusive, of the Codified Ordinances, <br />for full-time permanent hourly employees. <br /> <br />Section 4. All compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal <br />installments every two weeks. <br /> <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the <br /> <br /> <br />
