ORDINANCE NO. 36-79 BY: <br /> <br />Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, <br />Wendling, Brockman, Brown, <br />Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend (a)(1) of Section 149.08 of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood <br />relating to vacations. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section ]. That paragraph (a)(1) of Section ]49.08 of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />149.08 VACATIONS. <br /> <br />(a) (1) <br /> <br />All full-time permanent hourly employees and all <br />salaried employees other than members of the <br />Divisions of Police and Fire shall become eligible <br />for vacation leave upon their employment anniversary <br />date. All full-time, permanent employees of the <br />City who have completed one year of service shall <br />be entitled to two weeks vacation in that year and <br />each succeeding year through the fourth year of <br />employment. All full-time permanent employees of <br />the City who have completed five years of service <br />shall be entitled to two weeks and two days vacation <br />in that year and each succeeding year through the <br />ninth year of employment. All full-time, permanent <br />employees who have completed ten years of service <br />shall be entitled to three weeks vacation in that <br />year and each succeeding year through the fourteenth <br />year of employment.
