-2- <br /> <br /> b) Commencing Sept. 1, 1979, in addition to such salary or <br />comPensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall be <br />paid the sum of forty dollars ($40.00) per month to the individual <br />part-time employees and full-time employees holding the positions <br />hereinafter desiganted, and who are not furnished with City-owned <br />vehicles for use in the performance of the duties of their position: <br /> <br />(1) Home Health Aide - Part-time (1) <br />(2) Meter Readers - Full-time (4) (To be paid from Water Fund) <br /> <br />(c) Commencing September l, 1979, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall be <br />· paid to those employees of the City, and volunteers of Lakewood Office <br />on Aging, who are required to use their personal automobile in carrying <br />out their duties on behalf of the City of Lakewood, other than those <br />City employees set forth in Section I of this ordinance, a mileage <br />allowance of $0.15 per mile; provided however, that such personal car <br />use shall be approved by the appropriate department head and provided <br />further that, when applicable, such allowance shall not exceed the <br />cost of round trip coach air fare for such trip. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, and is approved by the Mayor, it shall take effect and be in force <br /> immediately upon its adoption and approval by'the Mayor, and existing <br />Section 149.20 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, adopted <br />March 4, 1974 and as amended September 18, 1978, shall be and the same <br />is hereby repealed as of said date. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> - ? <br /> <br />Approved :~ ~ ~_~<T?' ~ ,? ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
