ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />60-79 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling, Brockman, Brown <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to supplement Part Thirteen-Building Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood by enacting new Chapter <br />1302 adopting the Ohio Basic Building Code. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ohioized BOCA Building Code (modified by the Board to <br />meet Ohio's particular needs) is collectively known as the Ohio Basic Building <br />Code (OBBC) and is published in Division 4101:2 of the Ohio Administrative <br />Code, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, OBBC was filed October 20, 1978, to be effective July 1, <br />1979, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation Of a municipal department and for the immediate <br />preservation of the public safety .and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1.
