PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR COPY OF ORDINANCE GIVEN WITH DOCKET ORDINANCE NO. 6-80 BY: Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling, Brown, Chinnock AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Section 149.20 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to provide allowance of cost of transportation to City employees commencing February l, 1980. WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is desirable to provide an allowance of cost of transportation to employees of the City; now, there- fore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 149.20 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: 149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE (a) Commencing August l, 1979, 'in addition to such salary or compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall be paid the sum of eighty dollars (_580.00) per month to the individual full-time employees holding the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not furnished with City-owned vehicles for use in the performance of the duties of their position: (1) Buildi'ng Commission and Building Inspectors; (2~ Visiting Nurses in the Division of Health; (3) Sanitary Officers in the Division of Health; (~) Sidewalk Inspectors, while devoting time to inspection of sidewalks, and (]5) Health Commissioner in the Division of Health; (6) Planning DirectOr; (7) Outreach Workers (5) (b) Commencing September 1, 1979, in addition to such salary or compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall be paid the sum of forty dollars ($40.00) per month to the individual part-time employees and full-time employees holding the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not furnished with City-owned vehicles for use in the performance of the duties of their position: (1) Home Health Aide - Part-time (1) (2) Meter Readers - Full-time (4) (To be paid from Water Fund) (%) Commenci'ng September 1, 1979, in additi'on to such salary or compensatioh as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall be paid to those employees of the City, and volunteers of Lakewood Office on Aging, who are required to use their personal automobile in carrying out their duties on behalf of the City of Lakewood, other than those City employees set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance, a mileage allowance of $0~15 per mile; provided however, that such personal car use shall be approved by the appro- priate department head and provided further that, when applicable, such allowance shall not exceed the cost of round trip coach air fare for such trip° shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
