ORDINANCE NO. 87-80 <br /> <br />BY: Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling, Brown, Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving the compensation of employees of <br />Lakewood Hosoital, establishing other benefits for certain employees and <br />students as fixed by the Board of Trustees, and repealing Ordinance No. 7-80 <br />adopted January 27, 1980 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Lakewood provides that the Board <br />of Trustees of Lakewood'Hospital shall employ such employees as the Board <br />deems necessary and fix their compensation, subject to the approval of <br />Council, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Lakewood Hospital has created <br />certain positions and fixed salaries of employees of Lakewood Hospital, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, property, health or safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
