ORDINANCE NO. 38-81 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE creating the Police Remodeling and Improvement <br />Funds and appropriating funds thereto, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is theinten%of the COuncil of the City of Lakewood <br />Ohio that the security of the Police Department located in the <br />City Hall be enhanCed,and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it Was~the recommendation of the Administration, the <br />City Council and the Citizen's Financial Advisory Committee that <br />the Police and Fire Communications be unified and integrated, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the passage of this ordinance would help to accomplish <br />those ends; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY'OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section Ii That the Police Remodeling and Improvement Fund now <br />and is hereby created and the sum of $285,000 is now and hereby <br />appropriated for uses related thereto. <br /> <br />Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it <br />received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> <br />adopted and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
