ORDINANCE NO. 50-81 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY/VILLAGE of Lakewood ,Cuyahoc~a COUNTy, OHIO, IN THE MATTER OF THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED IMPROVEMENT UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE OF OHIO. ~ WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio proposes the improvement of the railroad paYement markings, in conformance with the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, at certain railroad- highway grade crossings under the jurisdiction of Lakewood , Cuvaho~a County in accordance with the plans approved by the Difecto~ of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the improvement, and, WHEREAS, the 1978 Federal Highway Safety Act and Amended House Bill No. lll provide funds for the construc%ion as contemplated herein, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY/VILLAGE OF Lakewood , OHIO: SECTION 1 It is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of the Council be and such consent is hereby given to the Director of Transportation to proceed with the above improvement tn accordance wich plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Di~,ector, at no cost to the City of Lakewood. SECTION 2 Thecity of LakeNoc>llgrees to perpetuate and maintain all pavement markings on the approaches to the at-grade crossing(s) inside the City of Lakewoodinstalled and placed herein conforming to the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices in compliance with the provisions of Section 4511.11 and related sections of the Ohio Revised Code. SECIION 3 The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and ordered to furnish the said Director w]ti~ a certified copy of this ordinance immediately upon its passage.
