FISCAL'OFFICER'S CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />Lakewood, Ohio <br />July 20, 1981 <br /> <br />TO THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br /> <br /> The undersigned, Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood, Ohio, as fiscal officer thereof, as defined by Section <br />133.01, Ohio Revised Code, hereby certifies in connection with your <br />proposed issue of bonds and notes in anticipation thereof in the <br />principal amount of $900,000 for the purpose of paying costs of <br />constructing a fifth floor on the City's existing off-street parking <br />garage and an enclosed pedestrian bridge connecting such garage and <br />the City's hospital and to pay and retire notes originally issued <br />on August 29, 1974, in the principal amount of $1,000,000 and renewed <br />annually thereafter, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the estimated life of the property and <br /> improvements to be acquired from the proceeds <br /> of such bonds is hereby certified to be at least <br /> five years. <br /> <br />That the maximum maturity of such bonds to be <br />issued for such purpose calculated in.accordance <br />with the provisions of Section 133.20, Ohio <br />Revised Code, is 25 years, being also my est~mmte <br />of the life usefulness of such improvements, but <br />may not exceed twenty-two (22) years by reason <br />of the provisions of Section 133.32, Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />The maximum maturity of notes issued in anticipation <br />of such bonds is eight years from August 29, 1974, <br />provided that if such notes are sold at private <br />sale, then their maximummaturity is one year. <br /> <br />The maximum principal amount of such notes, cal- <br />culated in accordance with the provisions of <br />Section 133.32, Ohio Revised Code, is $920,000. <br /> <br />All of which is respectfully submitted. <br /> <br />Director of Finance <br />City of Lakewood, Ohio <br /> <br /> <br />
