the regular places of voting in the City and during the usual hours for <br />holding elections as provided in the general laws of the State of Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the ballot submitting the question of the <br />adoption of the foregoing proposed amendment shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "PROPOSED <br />CHARTER AMENDMENT <br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO <br /> <br />Shall the proposed amendment of Article XX, Section 1 of the <br />Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, Ohio: <br /> <br />ARTICLE XX. LAKEWOOD HOSPITAL. <br /> <br />SECTION 1. ESTABLISHMENT; BOARD OF TRUSTEES. <br /> <br /> The Council of the City of Lakewood shall have the power <br />by ordinance to establish a municipal hospital and for such <br />purpose may, in accordance with the general law, issue and <br />sell bonds in such amounts as may be necessary for the procur- <br />ing of the necessary real estate and the erection, furnishing, <br />equipping and maintaining said hospital or for the purpose and <br />acquisition of any existing hospital and its furnishings and <br />equipment. Any such hospital shall be operated, controlled <br />and managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of eighteen <br />members, including the Mayor, who shall serve as President of <br />the Board, the Commissioner of Health, and the member of <br />Council who serves as Chairman of the Council's Hospital <br />Committee. The additional fifteen Trustees shall be appointed <br />by the Mayor with the approval of Council. No fewer than <br />e~ght of such additional Trustees shall be resident electors <br />of the City of Lakewood. Members of the Board of Trustees <br />shall receive no compensation for their services as members of <br />the Board. <br /> <br />(Upon adoption of this amended Section, the existing Article <br />XX, Section 1 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood <br />shall be repealed.) <br /> <br />be adopted?" <br /> <br /> Said ballot shall provide appropriate means for the voter <br />indicate his affirmative or negative vote on the question. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
