Said ballot shall provide appropriate means for the voter to <br />indicate h~a affirmative or negative vote on the question. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council zs hereby authorized and <br />directed to: forward a certified copy of th~s ordinance to the Board of <br />Elect~ons of Cuyahoga County; cause notice of the foregoing proposed <br />Charter amendment to be given pursuant to Section 107.10 of the <br />Administratzve Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, <br />Ohio and Section 731.211 of the Revised Code of Ohio; and give public <br />not~ce of the time and place of holding such election by publication of <br />notice thereof at least ten (10) days prior to the day of such election <br />~n a newspaper published and of general circulation in the City. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the Director of Law is hereby authorized and <br />directed ~o prepare and submit to the Board of Elect~ons of Cuyahoga <br />County, Oh~o~ wording for the ballot submitting the question of the <br />foregoing proposed amendment upon request from the Board of Electzons <br />that the City furnish additional or alternative wording to that set <br />forth zn Section 2 of thzs ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions <br />of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted <br />in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compli- <br />ance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br /> <br /> Sectzon 6. That this ordinance is hereby declared to he an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated and defined in the preamble <br />hereof and, providing it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon ~ts adoption and approval~ .~?the May~err. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />18N1 -L <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
