ORDINANCE NO.102-82 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 353.08 of the Codified Ordinan- ces of the City of Lakewood to increase the fees for off street parking permits. WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 353.08 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: 353.08 FEES AND PERMIT PERIODS. (a) The fee for each permit issued under the provisions of this Chapter and for each renewal thereof shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each permit period. Permit periods shall be for six (6) months, expiring onJune 30 and December 31 in any year. When a permit is issued after the first day of any permit period the amount of the fee shall be prorated for the unexpired days remaining in said period, at the rate of Two Dollars ($2.00) per week. (b) The fee for each transfer or replacement permit shall be One Dollar ($1.00). shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 353.08 FEES AND PERMIT PERIODS. (a) The fee for each permit issued under the provisions of this Chapter and for each renewal thereof shall be One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for each permit period. Permit periods shall be for six (6) months, expiring on June 30 and December 31 in any year. When a permit is issued after the first day of any permit period, the amount of the fee shall be prorated for the unexpired days remaining in said period, at the rate of Six Dollars ($6.00) per week. (b) The fee for each transfer or replacement permit shall be Two Dollars ($2.00). Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
