ORDINANCE NO.102-82 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 353.08 of the Codified Ordinan- <br />ces of the City of Lakewood to increase the fees for off street parking permits. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the immediate <br />preservation of the public safety and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 353.08 of the Traffic Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />353.08 FEES AND PERMIT PERIODS. <br /> <br />(a) The fee for each permit issued under the provisions of this <br />Chapter and for each renewal thereof shall be Fifty Dollars <br />($50.00) for each permit period. Permit periods shall be for six <br />(6) months, expiring onJune 30 and December 31 in any year. <br />When a permit is issued after the first day of any permit period <br />the amount of the fee shall be prorated for the unexpired days <br />remaining in said period, at the rate of Two Dollars ($2.00) <br />per week. <br /> <br />(b) The fee for each transfer or replacement permit shall be <br />One Dollar ($1.00). <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />353.08 FEES AND PERMIT PERIODS. <br /> <br />(a) The fee for each permit issued under the provisions of this <br />Chapter and for each renewal thereof shall be One Hundred Fifty <br />Dollars ($150.00) for each permit period. Permit periods shall <br />be for six (6) months, expiring on June 30 and December 31 in <br />any year. When a permit is issued after the first day of any <br />permit period, the amount of the fee shall be prorated for the <br />unexpired days remaining in said period, at the rate of Six <br />Dollars ($6.00) per week. <br /> <br />(b) The fee for each transfer or replacement permit shall be <br />Two Dollars ($2.00). <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in <br />an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council <br />and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
