U.S. 20 <br /> City <br /> <br /> An emergency ordinance enacted by the ~(~l)~(of Lakewood , <br />CU,yah0qa COunt,/; Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement, <br />under the supervision of the Director of Transportation; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation is considering improving a portiOn of the publiC highway which is <br />describedasfollows: By performing pavement planing,.and by applying an asphalt con- <br />Crete surface course (404) on U~S~20 (Sloane Ave.) between the bridge over <br />Rocky River and S.R.237 (West Clifton Blvd.) Length: 2,798 ft.; Width: 44 ft.; <br />Approximate ThiCkness: 1¼ inches; Total Length: 0.53 miles <br /> <br />Pavement markings after completion of the work are the responsibilitY of the <br />city. <br /> <br /> City <br /> NOWTHEREFORE, Be itordained by the Council of the X~a~[of <br />Ohio: <br /> <br />Lakewood <br /> <br /> SECTION I (Consent) <br /> City <br /> That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent 0~ said ~(be and such consent is hereby <br />given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans~ <br />specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. <br /> <br /> SECTION II (Cooperation) <br /> City <br /> That saidX~(~){hereby proposes to cooperate with the State of Ohio, in the cost of the above described <br />improvement as follows: A lump sum of $14),500.00 which ~ncludes ~he cos~ of resu~facing, <br />engineering, contingencies, and adjusting cas~ings to grade. <br /> <br />SECTION II-A <br /> <br /> Thatthe Lump Sum of $14,5g0,00 <br />is hereby appropriated for the improvement of the highway as described hereinabove. <br /> <br /> H ' <br /> <br /> SECTION l il (Authority to Sign) <br /> City <br /> That the Mayor of said~}{~g~, is hereby authorized to enter <br /> (Contractual Officer's Title) <br />into malntenance and parking agreements and special contractual obligations. <br /> <br />page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
