READING <br />APRIL 19, 1982. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 22-82 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the <br />annual salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City <br />of 'Lakewood excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, effective March 1, <br />1982, and creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief of <br />Police and the Chief of Fire effective January 1, 1982. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest <br />of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation <br />of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of annual <br />salaried employees in the several departments and divisi'on$ of the City of <br />Lakewood excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, as fixed by. the director <br />of said department with the approval of the Mayor, within the following <br />schedule of compensation, shall be as follows effective March"l, 1982, with the <br />exception of the positions of Chief of Police and Chief of Fire, which shall be <br />effective January 1, 1982: <br /> <br />BAND A -$29,900 $39,100 <br /> <br />Director of Law <br />Director of Finance <br />Director of Public Works <br />Chief of Police <br />Chief of Fire <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />BAND B - $27,200 - $35,700 <br /> <br />Superintendent Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Superintendent Water <br />Superintendent Streets <br />Superintendent Refuse <br />Superintendent Parks <br />Building Commissioner <br />Executive Assistant to the Mayor <br />Director of Community Development <br />D~rector of Office on Aging <br />Director of Planning <br /> <br />BAND C - $21,000 - $28,500 <br /> <br />Commissioner of Health <br />City Accountant - Assistant Director of Finance <br />Youth Coordinator <br />Assistant Engineer <br />Personnal Administrator <br />Assistant Director of Community Development <br />Assistant Superintendent of Refuse <br />Assistant Superintendent of Streets <br />Assistant Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Assistant Superintendent of Parks <br />Assistant Superintendent of Water <br />Assistant Housing Commissioner <br />Assistant Building Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />
