Civil Service Commissioners <br />Civil Service Secretary <br /> <br />BAND I <br /> <br />$2,850 <br />6,500 <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL ANNUAL MERIT PAY <br /> <br />Employees shall receive additional annual merit pay upon <br />receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of <br />Ohio: <br /> <br />Plumbing Inspector's License <br />Electrical Inspector's License <br />Class I Water Distribution License <br />Class II Water Distribution License <br />Class I Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class II Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class iii Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class IV Wastewater Treatment License <br /> <br />$1,000 <br />1,000 <br />$350 <br />$850 <br />$350 <br />$600 <br />$900 <br />$1,ooo <br /> <br /> Section 2. Salary of the Director of Law Shall cover all ordinary <br />service including legal advice and opinion as requested by the Council or any <br />individual member of Council, the Mayor and directors of departments, the draft- <br />ing of ordinances and resolutions, attendance at council meetings, and the admin- <br />istration and supervision of the Law Department. The Law Director and the As- <br />sistant Law Director shall receive as additional compensation, professional fees <br />for the handling of any litigation involving the City of Lakewood, or other <br />extraordinary services, such fees not to exceed $60.00 per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal <br />installments every two weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All annual salaried employees, including the Chief of <br />Police and the Chief of Fire, shall be entitled to compensable time for hours <br />worked in excess of eight (8) hours/day and fort (40) hours/week, and for work <br />performed on Saturday, Sunday and any holiday as defined in Section 149.10. This <br />Section does not apply to Foremen - Class A - Public Works Department, whose <br />overtime compensation is covered pursuant to Section 5 herein. <br /> <br /> Section 5. Foremen - Class A Public Works Department - shall <br />receive time and one-half of their regular pay for all hours worked in excess <br />of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week, and for all hours <br />worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in Section 149.10. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Foremen Class A who work for four (4) hours or more as <br />part of a regular shift assignment with the Refuse Department shall receive a <br />shift premium of 15¢ per hour for all hours worked during the second shift <br />(3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight); and 20¢ per hour for all hours worked during the <br />third shift (12:01 midnight to 8:30 a.m.). In the event a Class A Foreman is <br />temporarily transferred from his regular day shift to assignment to another <br />shift for the purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall receive a premium pay <br />of 50¢ per hour for every hour worked up to eight (8) hours. <br /> <br /> Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of <br />this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, <br />were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
