Salary of the Director of Law Shall cover all ordinary service including legal advice and opinion as requested by the Council or any individual member of Council, the Mayor and directors of departments, the draft- ing of ordinances and resolutions, attendance at council meetings, and the admin- istration and supervision of the Law Department. The Law Director and the As- sistant Law Director shall receive as additional compensation, professional fees for the handling of any litigation involving the City of Lakewood, or other extraordinary services, such fees not to exceed $60.00 per hour. Section 3. All compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal installments every two weeks. Section 4. All annual salaried employees, including the Chief of Police and the Chief of Fire, shall be entitled to compensable time for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours/day and fort (40) hours/week, and for work performed on Saturday, Sunday and any holiday as defined in Section 149.10. This Section does not apply to Foremen - Class A - Public Works Department, whose overtime compensation is covered pursuant to Section 5 herein. Section 5. Foremen - Class A Public Works Department - shall receive time and one-half of their regular pay for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week, and for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in Section 149.10. Section 6. Foremen Class A who work for four (4) hours or more as part of a regular shift assignment with the Refuse Department shall receive a shift premium of 15¢ per hour for all hours worked during the second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight); and 20¢ per hour for all hours worked during the third shift (12:01 midnight to 8:30 a.m.). In the event a Class A Foreman is temporarily transferred from his regular day shift to assignment to another shift for the purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall receive a premium pay of 50¢ per hour for every hour worked up to eight (8) hours. Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
