ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />24-82 <br /> <br />PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE <br />SUBMITTED WITH DOCKET <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Graham, Salmon, <br /> Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Paragraph (a) of Section 149.20 of <br />the'Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to <br />provide for an increase for mileage allowance for meter readers. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the miles travelled by meter readers are such that this <br />Council determines an increase in the monthly milege gllowance is appropriate <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CIT~' OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Paragraph (a) of Section 149.20 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> <br />(a) Commencing April l, 1981, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall <br />be paid the sum of one hundred twenty-five dollars(S125.) per month~'~o <br />employees in group one, one hundred ($100.00) to employees in group <br />two and forty dollars ($40.00) to employees in group three holding <br />the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not furnished City <br />owned vehicles for their use in the performance of their duties: <br /> <br />(1) Group one. <br /> <br />A. Building Inspectors. <br /> <br />(2) Group Two. <br /> <br />A. Sanitary officers in the Division of Health. <br />B. Outreach workers. <br />C. Visiting Nurses. <br />D. Building Commissioner. <br />E. Assistant Building Commissioner. <br />F. Assistant Commissioner for Housing. <br /> <br />(3) Goup three. <br /> <br />A. Home Health Aide. <br />B. Meter Readers. <br />C. Health Commissioner. <br />D.
