Section 2. That notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 1305 of <br />the Building Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, this <br />Council hereby authorizes the Building Commissioner to cause the residence~ <br />15608 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, to be demolished three days after notice of <br />the adoption of the within ordinance has been served upon the ancillary adminis- <br />trator with Will annexed of the estate of Vera L. Pettibone or ~as soon there- <br />after as possible, <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Building Commissioner is hereby authorize~ to <br />enter into a contract for the demolition of the residence at 15608 Lake Avenue, <br />Lakewood, Ohio, provided the cost of said demolition is not in excess of $5,000. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to serve a certified copy of the within ordinance upon John P. <br />Seaman, Ancillary Administrator, W.W.A., of the Estate of Vera L. Pettibone, <br />R.D. #1, Route #113, Monroeville, Ohio, 44847, pursuant to the provisions of <br />Paragraph (d) of Section 1305.521 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of <br />this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, <br />were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> Section 6. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved:~/~¢_ ~¢ /~ W~ <br /> <br /> <br />
