"Senior Indenture Trustee" means National City Bank, Cleveland, Ohio, in its capacity as Trustee under the Senior Indenture, and any successor to it in that capacity as designated or determined under or pursuant to the Senior Indenture. "Series" means all of the Bonds authenticated and delivered on original issuance in a simultaneous transaction, and any Bonds thereafter authenticated and delivered in lieu of or in substitution therefor, pursuant to any Series Bond Legislation and the Indenture or any Supplemental Indenture, regardless of variations in maturity, interest rate or other provisions. "Series Bond Legislation" means the ordinance of the Legisla- tive Authority authorizing the issuance of any Series of Bonds and constituting a part of the Indenture. With respect to the Series 1983 Bonds, this Bond Legislation shall constitute the Series Bond Legis- lation. "Series 1983 Bonds" means the Issuer's Six-Month Demand Float- ing Rate Subordinated Hospital Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 1983, authorized pursuant to Section 3 hereof. "Specified Interest Rates" means, as to any Series of Bonds, such interest rate or rates which the Bonds of such Series shall bear as specified in or pursuant to the applicable Series Bond Legislation. "State" means the State of Ohio, one of the United States of America. "Term Bonds" means any Bonds of any Series maturing on a Term Maturity Date, the principal of which is subject to payment by mandatory redemption prior to maturity through the application of Mandatory Sink- ing Fund Requirements. "Term Maturity Date" or "Term Maturity Dates" means, as to any Series of Bonds, such date or dates, if any, on which Bonds of such Series which are Term Bonds mature by their stated maturities, as spec- ified in or pursuant to the applicable Series Bond Legislation. "Trustee" means the Trustee designated as such in the Inden- ture, initially Central National Bank, Cleveland, Ohio, and any successor Trustee as determined or designated under or pursuant to the Indenture. Any reference herein to the Issuer or the Legislative Authority, the Executive, the Fiscal Officer, the Legal Officer, the Clerk, or to any other officers of the Issuer, or to other public hoards, com- missions, departments, institutions, agencies, bodies, entities or officers thereof, shall include those who or which succeed to the functions, duties or responsibilities thereof pursuant to or by -14-
