"Bond Service Charges" means, for any applicable time period,
<br />the principal (including any Mandatory Sinking Fund Requirements),
<br />interest, and redemption premium, if any required to be paid by the
<br />Issuer on the Bonds. In determining Bond Service Charges for any period
<br />or date, Mandatory Sinking Fund Requirements required to be paid during
<br />such period or on such date shall be included, and principal maturities
<br />for which, and to the extent, Mandatory Sinking Fund Requirements were
<br />or are to be paid in a prior period or on a prior date shall be
<br />excluded.
<br />
<br /> "Business Day" or "business day" means any day other than a
<br />Saturday, Sunday, holiday or other day on which banks located in the
<br />State are authorized or required to remain closed.
<br />
<br /> "Certificate of Award" means (i) as to the Bonds, the certi-
<br />ficate authorized by Section 5(1) hereof; and (ii) as to any Series of
<br />Additional Bonds, the Certificate of Award authorized to be executed
<br />with respect to such Series of Bonds by the Series Bond Legislation
<br />authorizing the issuance thereof.

<br /> "Clerk" means the Clerk of the Issuer's Legislative Authority
<br />or the person acting as such pursuant to authorization by the Legisla-
<br />tive Authority.
<br />
<br /> "Code" means the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended,
<br />and regulations promulgated thereunder.
<br />
<br /> "Costs of Hospital Facilities" means the costs of acquiring or
<br />constructing Hospital Facilities; cost of improving one or more Hospital
<br />Facilities, including reconstructing, rehabilitating, remodeling, ren-
<br />ovating, and enlarging; costs of equipping and furnishing Hospital
<br />Facilities; and all financing costs pertaining thereto, including,
<br />without limitation thereto, costs of engineering, architectural, and
<br />other professional services, designs, plans, specifications and surveys,
<br />and estimates of cost, costs of tests and inspections, the costs of any
<br />indemnity or surety bonds and premiums on insurance, all related direct
<br />or allocable administrative expenses pertaining thereto, fees and
<br />expenses of trustees, depositories, and paying agents for Bonds, costs
<br />of any municipal bond insurance policies securing Bonds, costs of issu-
<br />ance of Bonds, and financing charges and fees and expenses of financial
<br />advisors, attorneys, accountants, consultants and rating services in
<br />connection therewith, capitalized interest on Bonds, the reimbursement
<br />of all moneys advanced or applied by the Issuer or others or borrowed
<br />from others for the payment of any item or items of costs of Hospital
<br />Facilities, and all other expenses n~cessary or incident to planning or
<br />determining feasibility or practicability with respect to Hospital
<br />Facilities; and such other expenses as may be necessary or incident to
<br />the acquisition, construation, reconstruction, rehabilitation, remodel-
<br />ing, renovation, enlargement, improvement, equipment, and furnishings of
<br />Hospital Facilities, the financing thereof, and the placing of the same
<br />
