ORDINANCE NO. 17-83 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of <br />the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31,1982. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the <br />public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation <br />of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from <br /> Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />a. Community Development Block Grant Fund <br />b. Office on Aging IIIB Fund <br />c. Office on Aging IIIC Fund <br /> <br />1,477,787 <br /> 479,076 <br /> 64,216 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the <br /> Debt Service Funds: <br /> <br />a. Debt Service Fund 5,419,748 <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from <br /> Capital Projects Funds <br /> <br />a. Refuse Equipment 227,941 <br />b. Telephone Improvement 7,602 <br />c. Capital Improvement Fund 183,288 <br />d. Police Remodeling Improvement 175,340 <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the <br /> Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />a. Hospital Fund 82,155,631 <br /> <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from <br /> Special Assessment Funds: <br /> <br />a. Local Street Improvement 1,315,536 <br />b. Sidewalk Repair 48,366 <br /> <br />Section 6. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to draw <br />checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance <br />whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department <br />for which the indebtedness is incurred. <br /> <br />Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives the affirma- <br />tive vote of two-thirds of all members elected to the City Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br /> <br />f~ ~/~1~ayor ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
