ORDINANCE NO. 44-83 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE additionally amending Ordinance 20-83 and addi- <br />tionally appropriating dollars to the various funds of the City of <br />Lakewood and to declare an emergency. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood has determined that certain <br />other appropriations are necessary for the effective operations of the <br />City of Lakewood, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these deliberations and actions have been implemented by various <br />other ordinances passed by the Council of the City of Lakewood, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the public health and safety and for the Usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The following additional appropriations are made from the various <br />funds of the City of Lakewood: <br /> <br />That there should be additionally appropriated <br />from the General Fund: <br /> <br />That there should be additionally appropriated <br />from the Special Revenue Fund: <br /> <br />141,951 <br /> <br />Street Construction, Maintennace & Repair <br />Office on Aging III B <br /> <br />That there should be additional appropriated <br />from the Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />33,658 <br /> 1,004 <br /> <br />34,662 <br /> <br /> Water Fund 12,838 <br /> Wastewater Fund 30,261 <br /> Parking Fund 3,668 <br /> 4G,767 <br />Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all said deliberations <br />of this Council and that of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public in accordance with all <br />legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, <br /> <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor, otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from and after <br />the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
