<br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving the editin9 and inclusion of certain
<br />ordinances enacted by the Council from April l, 1982, to July 15, 1983, includ-
<br />in9 drug paraphernalia ordinances 5-80 and 29-80 and approving amendments to
<br />the Traffic and General Offenses Code to conform to enactments of the Ohio
<br />General Assembly.

<br /> WHEREAS, various ordinances of a general and permanent nature have
<br />been adopted by this Council during the period from April l, 1982 to Ouly 15,
<br />t983, which should be included in the Codified Ordinances of the City of
<br />Lakewood, Ohio so as to conform to the classification and numbering system of
<br />the Codified Ordinances including drug paraphernalia ordinances 5-80 and 29-80,
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, certain sections of the Traffic and General Offenses Codes
<br />should be amended to conform to enactments of the Ohio General Assembly, and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measuare providing
<br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and there exists an im-
<br />perative necessity for the earliest publication and distribution of 1983 replace-
<br />ment pages to the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to the officials
<br />and residents of the City so as to facilitate administration, daily operation,
<br />and to avoid practical and legal entanglements; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the editing, arrangement and numbering or renumbering
<br />of the following ordinances and parts of ordinances are hereby approved as
<br />parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances of Lakewood,
<br />Ohio, so as to conform to the classification and numbering system of the
<br />Codified Ordinances, to wit:
