ORDINANCE NO. 108-84 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE appropriating the proceeds of the Ohio Preserva- <br />tion Grant for the Ohio Preservation Grant Fund. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has accepted a grant amount from the Ohio <br />Preservation Office of the Ohio Historical Society to develop a Lakewood <br />Historic Preservation Committee and to update the historic inventory <br />of the City, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate the funds received under the <br />City's Special Revenue Funds, and <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br /> STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. The amount of $900.00 shall be and the same is hereby <br /> appropriated under the Special Revenue Funds of the City of Lakewood <br /> to the Ohio Preservation Grant Fund. <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br /> Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br /> adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- <br /> tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br /> such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br /> with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br /> Code. <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons steated in the preamble hereof and provided <br /> it receives the affirmative vote of two.-thirds of all members of Council, <br /> it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately upon its adoption and <br /> approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force <br /> after the earliest period allowable by 'law. <br /> <br />V ' ' ' Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
