ORDINANCE NO. 108-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE appropriating the proceeds of the Ohio Preserva- tion Grant for the Ohio Preservation Grant Fund. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has accepted a grant amount from the Ohio Preservation Office of the Ohio Historical Society to develop a Lakewood Historic Preservation Committee and to update the historic inventory of the City, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate the funds received under the City's Special Revenue Funds, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. The amount of $900.00 shall be and the same is hereby appropriated under the Special Revenue Funds of the City of Lakewood to the Ohio Preservation Grant Fund. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons steated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two.-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowable by 'law.
