ORDINANCE NO. 114-84 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, WeD~lqng <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Economic and Commu- <br />nity Development of the City of Lakewood to purchase certain real estate known <br />as P.P. No. 312-29-118 located at 1263 Clifton Prado in Lakewood, Ohio, herein- <br />after more particularly described and subject to the terms and conditions <br />hereafter set forth. <br /> WHEREAS, this'ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the further reason that <br />the owner has agreed to sell said property for the consideration herein <br />stipulated and this Council determines it to be in the best interest of the <br />City that the property be purchased immediately so that the Clifton Prado <br />Improvement Project can be commenced without any delay; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Economic and Community Development <br /> of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to purchase <br /> from the 12015 Clifton Company the following property: <br /> <br /> Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga <br /> and State of Ohio and known as being part of Sublot Nos. <br /> 51 and 52 in Henry Beach's Subdivision of part of Original <br /> Lot No. 60 in Original Rockport Township Section No. 21, <br /> as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 30 of Maps, Page 4 <br /> of Cuyahoga County Records and together forming a parcel <br /> of land bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning in the Southerly line of Clifton Boulevard <br /> (120 feet wide), at its intersection with the Easterly <br /> line of said Henry BEach's Subdivision; thence due South, <br /> along said Easterly line of Henry Beach's Subdivision, <br /> 186.26 feet to the principal place of beginning of the <br /> parcel of land herein intended to be described; thence due <br /> South, along said Easterly line of Henry Beach's Subdivi- <br /> sion 35.95 feet thence due West, 67.56 feet; thence due <br /> North, 35.95 feet; thence due East, 67.56 feet to the <br /> principal place of beginning according to a survey dated <br /> August 10, 1946, by the National Survey Service Inc., <br /> Civil Engineers and Surveyors, be the same more or less, <br /> but subject to all legal highways, and subject to and <br /> together with restrictions, covenants, and easement rights <br /> created in Reservations No. l, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and <br /> Eastments No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and Restrictions No. <br /> 1 as set forth in the Deed from Saul S. Biskind to Andrew <br /> M. DeMarcheck and Delizabeth M. DeMarchek, dated August <br /> 30, .1946, and filed for record September 21, 1946, as <br /> Cuyahoga County Recorder's File No. 20422. <br /> <br /> And an undivided one-twenty second interest in the <br /> following described premises: <br /> <br /> Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga <br /> and State of Ohio, and known as being part of Sub Lots <br /> Nos. 54 and 55 and part of a 20 feet Alley in the Henry <br /> Beach Subdivision of part of Lot No. 60 in Original <br /> Rockport Township Section No. 21, as shown by the recorded <br /> plat in Volume 30 of Maps, Page 4 of Cuyahoga County <br /> Records, and together forming a parcel of land bounded and <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
