ORDINANCE NO. 121-84 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br />Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1984. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Street Construction, Maint. & Repair Fund <br />Office on Aging Fund, Title IIIB <br />Office on Aging Fund, Title IIIC <br />Jobs Bill Fund - 1983 <br /> <br />$ 565,000 <br /> 325,000 <br /> 140,000 <br /> 400,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Capital Improvement Fund: <br /> <br />Lake Avenue Resurfacing Fund <br />Urban Parks Improvement Fund <br />Fire Equipment Improvement Fund <br /> <br />400,00O <br /> 3,900 <br />165,000 <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by <br />the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, pro- <br />viding the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Section 7.
