ORDINANCE NO. Ordinance 29-84 BY: Chinnock, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 905.02 of the Streets and Pub- lic Services Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to hours that parks are open to the public. WHEREAS, in amending Section 905.02 of the Streets and Public Services code of the Codified Ordinances, a section relating to the hours during which parks are open to the public was inadvertently omitted from the amendment, and WHEREAS, it is necessary now to correct such omission by re-establish- ing the hours in which Lakewood Park, Madison Park, Kauffman Park are open to the public, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency ordinance providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 905.02 of the Streets and Public Services Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: 905.02 HOURS OPEN TO PUBLIC. (a) Parks shall be open dJily for use by the general pub- lic. (b) No person other than an on-duty employee of the City shall enter into or remain within the limits of Webb Park, Wagar Park, Edwards Park, or Cove Park, during the time from one hour after sunset to sunrise. (c) The Kiwanis Pavilion and Shelter House Pavilion situat- ed at Lakewood Park shall be open for use by permit holders from June 1 through September 30 of each calendar year between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and lO:O0 p.m. daily. shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 905.02 HOURS, OPEN TO PUBLIC. (a) Parks shall be open dailY for use by the general pub- lic. (b) No person other than an on-duty employee of the City shal enter into or remain within the limits of Lakewood, Park, Madison Park, or Kaufman Park between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and sunrise. (c) No person other than an on-duty employee of the City shall enter into or remain within the limits of Webb Park, Wagar Park, Edwards Park, or Cove Park, during the time from one hour after sunset to sunrise. (d) The Kiwanis Pavilion and the Shelter House Pavilion situated at Lakewood Park shall be open for use by permit holders from June 1 through September 30 of each calendar year between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.
