ORDINANCE NO. 41-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the <br />annual salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City <br />of Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, effective March 4, 1984, <br />and creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief of Police <br />and the Chief of Fire, effective January 1, 1984. <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of <br />public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation of <br />employees; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of annual <br /> salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City of <br /> Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, as fixed by the director <br /> of said department with the approval of the Mayor, within the following schedule <br /> of compensation, shall be as follows, effective March 4, 1984, with the exception <br /> of the positions of Chief of Police and Chief of Fire, which shall be effective <br /> January 1, 1984. <br /> <br />BAND A - $31,000 - $43,500 <br /> <br />Director of Law <br />Director of Finance <br />Director of Public Works <br />Chief of Police <br />Chief of Fire <br />City Engineer <br /> <br /> BAND B - $26,200 - $37,900 <br /> <br />Director of Community Development <br />Director of Office on Aging <br />Director of Planning <br />Personnel Administrator <br />Superintendent <br />Building Commissioner <br />Executive Assistant to the Mayor <br />Youth Coordinator <br /> <br />BAND C - $21,000 - $31,000 <br /> <br />Commissioner of Health <br />Assistant Director <br />Assistant Engineer <br />Assistant Superintendent <br />Assistant Commissioner <br />Foreman A <br />Chief Surveyor <br /> <br />BAND D - $17,400 - $25,450 <br /> <br />Nurse Practitioner <br />CDC Administrator <br />Engineering Technician <br />Administrative Assistant to the Mayor <br />Public Health Nurse <br />Chief Mechanic - Fire <br />Legislative Aide - Clerk of Council <br />Crime Prevention Sepcialist <br /> <br /> <br />
